A letter from Amelia. News that includes explanations, an apology, and glimpses into the future.
I hope I’m finding you all in various stages of naughtiness, embracing life and living to the fullest. I’m trying to do the same thing here in my own life but I’ve been very busy the last month or so. Sadly that busyness hasn’t all come from writing. Friends, family, and work have had me distracted and barely able to keep up.
The good news is that there is an end in sight but it means more pull away before it gets better. I’m disappointed but can only keep smiling and get through it all.
That’s why I’m offering you this apology.
I’m sorry. The words are simple but I mean then with all my heart.
A few weeks ago I missed posting the free weekly quickie. That shouldn’t have happened but it did. You’ll be happy to know I am working on the one for this week with every intention of having it out by the end of the week.
I could make excuses but all I really want to do is let you know I haven’t forgotten my promises. There is a great deal I still have to share with all of you and I’m striving to get back on track.
Please continue to enjoy the stories I am putting up here. Hopefully I’ll have another short story up on Amazon by the end of the month. That, too, is taking longer than it should but I’m doing my best.
My heart is with the novels and I’ve been moving forward, putting down words, but it’s been slower than I’d planned.
I think, though, that things will be settling down by the end of this month. If I’m right then things will be back to normal, or at least normal enough for me to get back to spending most of my time writing and putting out stories.
My goals are still to have two novels completed by Christmas. Yes, that is a lofty goal but it is doable. It’ll just take lots of hard work, determination, willpower, and plenty of time at the keyboard.
Wish me luck and thank you for all the support you continue to offer me. It means so much.
